Lord Krishna said to Arjuna that all souls including his own were present in the past and will also be present in the future. According to the Hindu Vedic astrology if we start our important work/assignment in an auspicious time (shubh Muhurata) the chances of success in that assignment can be optimized. A muhurata is a unit of time comprises of 48 minutes. We know that there are 1440 minutes in a day. Therefore there is 30 muhuratas of 48 minutes each in day. Muhurata (Auspicious time) are widely applicable to many different areas including marriage, relationship, journey, investment, purchase of property and other valuable, and many more things. It is a natural phenomenon that every body desires fruitful results for the work conducted by him/her.
Astrology/Muhurata helps in choosing that auspicious time to perform the work.

Astrology is a means of preparing an individual for the future. In fact, astrologers can help a frustrated person to think more positively. Some astrologers may leave you dissatisfied; that doesn’t mean astrology has no basis.
After all, astrology is based on astronomy, on the stars and the planets. These are real and influence human life. Can you think of life without the sun? Doesn’t the sun provide us with heat and light?
